HANDLING CASES AGAINST THE LARGEST EMPLOYERS AND LAW FIRMS IN SAN DIEGO |
Have fun this Labor Day Weekend catching up on your hobbies. Maybe a little gourd art, or popsicle sticks.
Hot on the man made island last week. Record temperatures in San Diego. Hang in there. The weather is bound to improve, especially if you get a good employment lawyer.#employmentlawyer#SanDiegoemployeeattorney
Employment discrimination hurts whether it is sexual harassment, racial discrimination, disability discrimination, or anything else. It is hard to understand how insensitive coworkers, supervisors, and employers can be.
If your emotional distress is real, as a result of your employment wrong we'd like to know. While many employee lawyers cast aside the value of emotional injury, and importance of seeking redress for emotional harm I believe it is a very important part of a lawsuit involving the loss of a job, discrimination, or employment harassment.#employmentharassmentlawyer#emotionaldistress
Today is the last day of Day of the Dead. So happier things until next year.

Kids are family and your continuum, but what if you have to miss work because of your kid? Having to care for a child's serious medical condition entitles an employee to Family Medical Leave coverage. Having to go to a child's school may also constitute a protected act.If you were fired for having to miss work due to your child's serious medical condition, disability, or a mandatory attendance at their school in California you may be able to sue for the loss of your job.

The marine life depicted herein communicated with my office In Re overtime and minimum wage violations. Sadly, I had to say the California Labor Code speaks of persons and people. However, the word individuals also appears in certain sections so we have a leg (well at least I do) to stand on.

San Diego has quite a few marinas. One of he things I like about San Diego is you can spend an entire day going through the marinas if your vessel is not terribly ocean worthy. This shot was taken from a monorail.
Yes, San Diego's tourist industry does lead to labor cases. During the summer I had a serious sex and age discrimination case against a resort.

Some workplaces are more fun than others for at least the customers. Actually, working outside all day in front of a hot oven might not be that fun. Or maybe this is Day of the Dead punishment.

We get a lot of calls when employees feel they are off center, leaning over, but not yet fired. Unfortunately employee lawyers are more concerned with suing for a loss of a job, a serious work injury, a large amount of unpaid wages, or sexual harassment. Many employment situations are not perfect, but they are not illegal. Employment lawyers get involved when there has been a violation of the law and the employee is ready to sue. If your employment has reached those unfortunate junctures, please reach out to our law firm.

San Diego in the bustling Gas Lamp/Convention Center Area. This part of San Diego has a very high level of architecture, and there's always something going on here.

View from an age and sex discrimination case in which I represent five women over 40.
The Athletic Club is for use on the below rooftop. They have all types of weight lifting and body movement classes throughout the day. If you are a regular visitor to this downtown building, however, parking is $56 which is as far as I know the record for Southern California beating out even the most expensive parking garage in downtown Los Angeles.

Before you sail off into the sunset thinking you have hired the right labor lawyer. Ask:
1. Will this lawyer try my case, and what is her/his trial experience?
2. Does this lawyer have funds to advance costs on my case?
3. Does the lawyer only represent employees?
4. Does the lawyer seem serious about my labor case?
5. Is the lawyer giving me a lot of sales talk?
6. Did attorney ask me any tough questions? If not, probably won't ask the
employer witnesses good questions.
23 Years for me only representing employees. 2,000 or more separate cases and a bunch of employee class actions. I might be blunt, but I am honest with my clients and aim at getting them the results they want and deserve.

San Diego presents many marina and docking possibilities as well as bay sailing. Some years back I had a sailboat not far from this location. Incidentally, I was here for a multi-client meeting.

My present caseload involves the representation of a lot of hotel workers. Five in Escondido right now, but none in Mission Valley where this photograph was taken near Hotel Circle. I love the mature palm trees in this tourist area planned in the 1950s with a sign showing the way to Los Angeles.

The 1925 Mission Beach rollercoaster. Restored, but legitimately can be said to be 90 years old.
Don't let your work situation become your emotional rollercoaster. Let us help solve your workplace disputes.

Downtown San Diego looking at the convention center. I spent some time in this area on Saturday signing up clients for an age and sex discrimination lawsuit against an Escondido resort.

That's a big boat in this picture. I don't know if I'd be able to single hand it. Well, at least without colliding into the hotel in this picture behind the parking lot.
My trade is representing employees and writing comedy. When not on the air Sundays I use the same techniques to write legal briefs, closing arguments, and to make witnesses on the other side look like asses.
If your employer made you feel like an anachronism and then replaced you with a 26 year-old maybe maybe it was age discrimination. Managers who look upon employees, over 40, as old broken down equipment merely due to their age or number of gray hairs are acting illegally.
Age over 40 cannot be a factor in an employment termination.

Every job has an unpleasant nature. This job requires the workers to wear wet clothing and stand in the sun. Presumably there are also occupational hazards working with whales.
In the workers compensation system employers are liable for conditions they create. They also must abide by all labor laws regardless of how fun the job might be, or what dangers might exist.

Beautiful downtown San Diego by the Convention Center. The downtown area is very modern compared to some downtowns.
Our San Diego employee practice caters to employees from Oceanside to Escondido to Chula Vista with a lot of places in between. We do represent a lot of employees in the hospitality industry. After all, tourism is a big part of San Diego. In recent times there have also been a lot of employees who work for government contractors. Whatever industry you are in we are ready to serve San Diego's employees!

I can't guarantee that if you hire our firm to take on your employer, when your boat comes in (presuming it does) it will necessarily be as large or powerful as the crafts depicted herein. Upon request I can, however, guarantee a free rundown on the marinas in San Diego, Southern California, and how fun it is to operate various crafts in the marina and ocean.

As seen the Hardrock Hotel, San Diego. A list of songs Dylan planed to play at a concert. She Belongs to Me is the second.

Petco Park in the gas lamp district of San Diego at night. The crowds were cheering as I prepared for an age and sex discrimination lawsuit tomorrow.

Hardcore whimsical landscaping at an office complex in the Carlsbad Research Area where I deposed human resources and a 53 year employee in a five Plaintiff age and sex discrimination lawsuit today. I love the feel of San Diego's hilly areas.
Otherwise, the human resources lady has forever been ruined as a witness and thereby reduced to muttering fool talking out of both sides of her mouth and denying things she put into writing!

Beautiful architecture to the right. Very busy with cases these days. The San Diego translator overtime case is heating up with more and more clients. My Escondido age and sex discrimination lawsuit for five women moves into days of depositions next week.

Looking at downtown San Diego from Harbor Island. Apologies for the poor quality, but I used an iPhone 7 which takes worst pictures than a flip phone. Anyway, it was a long day with about 12 potential clients on an overtime and double time case.

Crazy minimum wage action in San Diego. The council voted for a city minimum wage, the mayor did a veto, and the council overrode it. Two council men were on the phone and one cut short a fishing trip in order to make the meeting in a tee-shirt. Read more about this minimum wage drama in San Diego, on my website.
